How does GolfClubsNow work?+
GolfClubsNow is a peer-to-peer marketplace where local golf club owners — we call them Caddies — list their equipment for rent. You browse available clubs, choose your rental dates, and pay securely through the platform. The Caddie arranges pickup, delivery, or meet-up based on their listing options.
Is my booking covered by insurance?+
Yes. Every confirmed booking automatically includes the GolfClubsNow Insurance Program. An Insurance Fee is included in your total at checkout — covering accidental damage, third-party theft, and damage during approved transit, subject to the terms in our Insurance Policy.
What payment methods are accepted?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Your card is authorised at booking, but only charged when the Caddie confirms your request.
Can I cancel my booking?+
Cancellations follow the policy set by the Caddie for that listing — Flexible, Moderate, or Strict. You can see it on each listing before you book. Refunds are processed through the platform.
What if the clubs don't match the listing description?+
Inspect the equipment at handoff. If something's wrong, contact the Caddie and notify our support team immediately — before using the equipment. We take listing accuracy seriously and review every discrepancy.
How do I pick up my clubs?+
Each listing specifies handoff options: Caddie meets Player, Player picks up at Caddie's location, Caddie delivery, or a designated drop-off zone. You confirm your preference when booking.
Can I rent clubs for multiple days?+
Yes — multi-day rentals are fully supported. The daily rate is set by the Caddie. Some Caddies offer discounted weekly rates. Just select your start and end dates when booking.
What if I want to try clubs before buying?+
That's exactly what GolfClubsNow is built for. Before you drop $1,500 on Titleist irons — play a round with them first. Every brand you can think of, at your fingertips.
For Caddies
How do I list my clubs?+
Create an account, go to "List Your Clubs," and fill in your equipment details: brand, model, shaft, condition, photos, availability, pricing, and preferred handoff methods. Your listing goes live after submission — your first one takes less than 10 minutes.
How do I get paid?+
Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect. After your banking information is set up, you receive your earnings — the rental rate minus platform service fees and insurance allocations — typically 24–48 hours after the rental period ends.
What fees does GolfClubsNow charge?+
GolfClubsNow charges a service fee on each completed booking. The exact breakdown is visible when you set your pricing. There are no listing fees — you only pay when you earn.
What happens if my equipment is damaged?+
Report any damage through the platform within 48 hours of equipment return, with photos and a description. Our team reviews the claim and determines coverage under the GolfClubsNow Insurance Program. See our Insurance Policy for full details.
What cancellation policies can I choose?+
You set your own policy per listing: Flexible (cancel up to 48 hours before for full refund), Moderate (cancel up to 24 hours before), or Strict (partial or no refund for late cancellations).
Do I need to verify my identity to list?+
Account verification is required, including identity confirmation and Stripe Connect setup for payouts. GolfClubsNow may run additional checks at its discretion to maintain marketplace trust.
I already do Airbnb or Turo — how is this different?+
It's the same model, applied to golf clubs. You already own the clubs. They're sitting in your garage right now. That's an underutilized asset. GolfClubsNow gives it an income stream — at a much lower barrier of entry than real estate or vehicles.
Insurance & Safety
What does the GolfClubsNow Insurance Program cover?+
The program covers accidental damage (e.g., broken shaft or club head), third-party theft if reasonable precautions were taken, and damage during platform-approved transit. It does not cover intentional damage, cosmetic wear, non-return, or incidents outside the booking period.
Can I decline insurance coverage?+
No. Insurance coverage is mandatory on every booking. The Insurance Fee is collected automatically as part of your total — it protects everyone on both sides of every rental.
How do I file a damage claim?+
Caddies must submit claims within 48 hours of equipment return via the platform — include timestamped photos, a written description, and the booking ID. GolfClubsNow reviews the claim and determines coverage at its sole discretion.
What if I feel unsafe during a handoff?+
Your safety comes first. Leave the situation, contact local emergency services if needed, then report the incident to our Safety team at safety@golfclubsnow.com.
