GolfClubsNow is committed to creating a safe and trusted experience for every Player and Caddie.
Emergency or Immediate Danger
If you are ever in immediate danger, call 911 first. After ensuring your safety, report the incident to our team at caddiemanager@golfclubsnow.com.
General Safety Principles
- Always verify your booking confirmation before meeting anyone.
- Conduct all communication through the GolfClubsNow platform — never move to personal numbers or off-platform payment.
- Meet in well-lit, public locations such as golf course parking lots or pro shop areas.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, it is OK to cancel and contact support.
- Never share your personal financial account information with other users.
- Report suspicious behavior immediately to our Team.
For Players
Before the Rental
- Review the Caddie's profile, ratings, and reviews before booking.
- Confirm the meeting location and time through the app.
- Share your plans with someone you trust if meeting a new person.
At Handoff
- Inspect Equipment thoroughly before accepting it. Note any pre-existing damage.
- If Equipment doesn't match the listing, do not accept it and contact support.
- Take photos at pickup and return to protect yourself.
For Caddies
Vetting Players
- Review Player profiles and ratings before accepting a booking.
- You have the right to decline a booking before confirmation.
- Consider using Moderate or Strict cancellation policies for high-value gear.
Handoff Best Practices
- Meet in public, well-trafficked locations.
- Photograph Equipment before and after each rental for your records.
- Confirm return via the platform before releasing the Player.
Equipment Safety Standards
Caddies are responsible for ensuring their Equipment is safe for use. Equipment with the following conditions should not be listed:
Cracked or fractured shafts
Loose club heads that could detach
Severely worn grips that affect control
Bag structural damage causing spills
GolfClubsNow may remove listings that do not meet these standards. Listing unsafe equipment may void insurance coverage and result in account suspension.
Report a Safety Issue
If you experienced harassment, fraud, or any safety concern during an interaction, please report it immediately.
