GolfClubsNow is committed to creating a safe and trusted experience for every Player and Caddie.

🚨 Emergency or Immediate Danger

If you are ever in immediate danger, call 911 first. After ensuring your safety, report the incident to our team at safety@golfclubsnow.com.

General Safety Principles

  • Always verify your booking confirmation before meeting anyone.
  • Conduct all communication through the GolfClubsNow platform — never move to personal numbers or off-platform payment.
  • Meet in well-lit, public locations such as golf course parking lots, pro shop areas, or shopping center parking lots.
  • Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, it is OK to cancel the handoff and contact our support team.
  • Never share your personal financial account information with other users.
  • Report suspicious behavior immediately to our Team.

For Players

Before the Rental

  • Review the Caddie's profile, ratings, and reviews before booking.
  • Confirm the meeting location and time through the app before the day of the rental.
  • Share your plans with someone you trust if meeting a new person.

At Handoff

  • Inspect all Equipment thoroughly before accepting it. Note any pre-existing damage and communicate it via the platform.
  • If Equipment does not match the listing, do not accept it and contact support immediately.
  • Take photos of Equipment at pickup and return to protect yourself.

During the Rental

  • Secure Equipment when not in use — locked car trunk, locker, or storage.
  • Use Equipment only for standard golf activities.
  • Report damage or theft immediately to both the Caddie and GolfClubsNow.

For Caddies

Vetting Players

  • Review Player profiles and ratings before accepting a booking.
  • You have the right to decline a booking at your discretion, provided you do so before confirmation.
  • For high-value equipment, consider using your cancellation policy to allow extra lead time.

Handoff Best Practices

  • Meet in public, well-trafficked locations.
  • Photograph Equipment before and after each rental — this is your best protection for any insurance claims.
  • Confirm return via the platform before releasing the Player from responsibility.

Protecting Your Equipment

  • List Equipment accurately and completely — hidden defects can void insurance claims.
  • Inspect Equipment immediately upon return and submit any claims within 48 hours with photos.
  • Serial numbers and purchase receipts can be helpful for valuation in a claim.

Equipment Safety Standards

Caddies are responsible for ensuring their Equipment is safe for use. Equipment with the following conditions should not be listed:

  • Cracked or fractured shafts
  • Loose club heads that could detach during swing
  • Severely worn grips that could cause loss of control
  • Bag structural damage that could cause equipment to fall or spill

GolfClubsNow may remove listings that do not meet safety standards. Listing unsafe equipment may void insurance coverage and may result in account suspension.

Report a Safety Issue

If you experienced harassment, fraud, unsafe behavior, or any other safety concern during a GolfClubsNow interaction, please report it immediately.
